In 1961, once again a building fund was started, and in 1963 the north wall of the Tabernacle was extended out 30 feet. The outside blocks were resurfaced in red brick, and inside, wood paneling replaced the light blue painted, particle board walls.
The cedar over the pulpit was left intact, but was hidden from view by the new, lower ceiling.
On September 11, 1965, Brotber Branham preached in the Tabernacle for the last time. After the closing prayer, he spoke to the congregation.
"Now, be kind to one another, be kind to everybody. Treat your neighbour right. Keep yourself unspotted until Jesus comes."
Then he sang, "Till we meet, till we meet, God be with you till we meet again."
